Bible Studying Buddies

Fridays at 17 – 19, St. Luke’s Chapel, Yliopistokatu 7

New in faith or just curious? You are welcome! Read the Bible seven times forwards and backwards? You are welcome! We gather every Friday to read and study the Bible. Every last Friday of the Month we have a person with theological education to give to teach us. This event is in English.

OPKO-evenings

Saturdays at 18.30 – 22.15, Tuira Church, Myllytie 5 (Door B)

These are about Bible lessons, prayer and free time with evening snack. The main language we use is Finnish, but we can translate into English.

Campus Hangout

Tuesdays at 12 – 14, Tellus Avenue, Erkki Koiso-Kanttilan katu 1

Relaxed hangout with free hot drinks, friends, and latest news about christian life in Oulu. This is a good place to make new friends. You find us in the lobby area of Tellus. CAMPUS HANGOUT HAS A SUMMER BREAK STARTING AFTER APRIL.

Floor ball

Tuesdays 20.30 – 21.30, Pöllökankaan koulu, Kuovitie 13.

You have to sign up for this activity via it’s own whatsapp group. I Ask for the student worker Tanja to add you into it. If you are a newcomer and don’t have your own equipment, you can usually borrow them from some other player.

Do you wish for more or want to serve?

We are always open for new ideas! And we are happy if you wish to serve in some occasion, maybe by singin, playing music or leading a prayer or by anything you feel like you would like to do. Contact the student worker Tanja to tell what you have in mind.
